Leßoy Schuringa, son of Mr, and Mrs. Jake Schuringa, who was inducted August 17, has been sent to Camp Crowder, Mo. Leßoy is married and the father of two children. John H. Boezeman, AMM 2jc, stationed at Hertford, No. Carolina is home on leave. Peter Leonard Mak, Sic, who is somewhere in the Southwest Pacific is expected to be released from the hospital this week, where he has been confined with a tropical disease. Cornelius R. Tysen A S has been transferred to Gulfport, Miss. Cpl. Donald Lloyd is stationed at Fort Pierce, Florida. The War Department lists the name of Corporal Clyde Krug of the marines as among men wounded in action. Corporal Krug is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Krug of W T heatfield. Pfc. Cecil DeYoung is training with the paratroopers at Ft. Benning, Ga. Cpl. Dale Schwanke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schwanke is with a bombing group in southern Italy. He writes that he would like to hear from his friends at home. Sgt. Roy Van Dam and Pvt. Herbe Hook have APO addresses. A htter from S 2]c Dick Evans to parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Evans informs them that he has been assigned to a destroyer and will be out at sea a lot of the time now. John Boezeman S 2 c son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Boezeman is in training at Gulfport, Miss. Master Sgt. Bud Belstra is now stationed at Camp Bowie, Texas. S 2 c Gerrity Van Keppel is now stationed at Norfolk, Va. His brother Pfc. Bernard is somewhere overseas and has a slight change of address.
