Mrs. George Vallar and son of New York City visited over the week end at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Bauman. Mrs. Rufus Walters and Miss Betty Story of Flint, Michigan, visited last week at the Gerrit Woudema’s and Clyde Story’s. Mrs. Paul Bush and children are visiting in Clinton, Tenn. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lund of Hammond spent the week end with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Bert Boezeman. Mrs. Bob Peterson and Miss Mildred Tysen were Sunday evening guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hank Peterson. Mrs. Lela Snyder of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Clark of Rensselaer visited Sunday at the O P. Rowens. Norman Chapell has returned home after visiting in Chicago. Miss Beverly Fletcher of Wrestville spent last week end with Miss Barbara Stangle. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fletcher came Tu 7 esday night and she returned home with them. Mrs. Darwin Cromer and son of Logansport came Tuesday evening to spend the rest of the week at the home of her sister Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stangle. Carol Joe Hart is spending a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Pettet in Rensselaer. Miss Evelyn Fey, enroute to her home in Lincoln, Nebraska, from Norfolk, Virginia stopped off here Monday night for a short visit with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zeck. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Miller and son of Chicago visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Osting. Mr. and Mrs. M. Laarman of Emily City, Michigan visited over the week end at the home of his sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Koster. Miss Joyce Swing of Rensselaer returned home Friday after a week spent with her aunt Mrs. Marvin Kessenger. Mrs. Wm. May and children of Remington visited last week at the home of Mrs. Beulah Hart. Mrs. Walter Huhn and Richard, Mrs. E. Sayers, Susan and James, Mrs. V. Strain, Bonnie and Margaret, of Rensselaer, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Huhn and sons. Mrs. W. W. Schultz has just returned from a two week’s visit in Chicago. In her absence her niece, Miss Miriam Bilger, principal of a city school in Streator, 111., took care of her home. Miss Bilger returned to her home Sunday evening. Miss Phyllis Whitaker of Fair Oaks started working this week at the Marvin Kessenger home. Mrs. Calvin Huhn, Larry and Paul Teach visited with the Harry Huhns' Sunday. The Art Konovsky’s of Chicago visited in the home of Carrie Konovsky Friday and Saturday. Miss Essie Brown of Chicago visited with Mrs. Harry Huhn last week.
