In the first game Tuesday night Stangle’s team defeated Crawford’s team by a score of 20 to 13. Cal Sw r art w’as the winning pitcher, while John and Bill Longstreth pitched for the losers. Art Schoonveld hit two home runs to lead in the batting department. In the second game, Struble’s team defeated Groet’s Pretzel Benders by a score of 6 to 5. A Swart was the losing pitcher, and Stephens w r as the winning hurler. Struble’s team, aided by veteran players Louie Ramp and Pink Spencer, Jim Rowen, Lynn Bricker and others set dow T n the Pretzel Benders in 1,2, 3, order after the second inning. Keith Barker celebrated his 7th birthday Saturday. Eighteen of his little friends were present. The girls and boys played games and had a lovely afternoon. Cake and ice cream were served late in the afternoon to the tired, happy youngsters. Keith received many lovely gifts.
