CHILD HEALTH PROGRAM

It is the desire of every wellmeaning citizen of our United States to cooperate with our Government in carrying out the child Health Program. Our Parent Teachers Association is again sponsoring this program for the third year. On immunization day last year, 60 children were vaccinated for Small Pox and 35 immunized against Diphtheria: the previous year 152 were vacciniated for Small Pox and 106 immunized against Diptheria. It is our desire that every child be given this protection. Since statistics show that 80% of the deaths caused by Diphtheria occur before the age of 6, we are anxious for many pre-school children to receive this protection. Plans are being made to have immunization at the school house "during the first or second week of April. Dr. Leeson Jias kindly consented to give his services again this year. A minimum fee will be charged. We hope that every school child who has not previously received this protection may be immunized, also all pre-schobl children and any adults who so desire. Please notify Mrs. Frances Irwin immediately to take advantage of this opportunity.
