We’re sure the new books will help us in preparing our lessons. - RATION BOOKS On Wednesday and Thursday of last week, school was dismissed for the purpose of issuing ration book No. 4. There was a total of 1647 books issued. The teachers enjoyed the patrons of the school. D. H. S. LANDSCAPING SCHOOL GROUNDS Our school grounds are now being “remodeled.” Last summer new cement walks were laid and now there is going to be a lawn on the south side of the building as well as in the front. Black dirt has been used to fill in. Trees and shrubbery have been planted, the hedge is being extended and grass seed has been sown. We hope every student will cooperate and help to make our shool grounds neater and prettier.
