ELSIE MAE HOWARD

-Elsie May Howard, wife of Ben Howard of Wheatfield was horn September 8, 1909, in Missouri and died Sunday, April 4, at 7:00 a. in. She had been in poor health since last August. Mrs. Howard was united in marrige with Ben Howard May f>, 1922, at Garrett, Ky.. and came to the Wheatfield vicinity about sixteen years ago with her husband and children. The husband and seven children mourn her. They are Arthur James. Bert Allen. Robert Wentford, Edna Pearl, Hazel Mae, Dorothy Lee and Ruth Anna Howard, all of Wheatfield. Also one sister, Dorothy Stump, Wheatfield: one stepbrother. Elbert Stepfather. Ed Wicks: half-sister. Jeanette Wicks and a halfbrother, Ernest Wicks, all of Wheatfield. Funeral Services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon April 6. at the Pentacostal church in Wheatfield. Rev. Archibald of DeMotte officiating. Body lay in state at the Todd Funeral Home in DeMotte until the time of the service. Burial was in the Wheatfield cemetery.
