ANY an old-time art is being revived today and the art of making old-fashioned crazy patch quilts is one that fits into our times. All you need is scraps of silk and odds and ends of embroidery thread. The pieces are sewn
to a foundation of light weight cotton material with a variety of embroidery stitches. This colorful patchwork may then be used for a new cover for a comforter. Another idea is to cover a worn blanket with it. * * • NOTE—Book 7 of the series available to readers shows another crazy patch design and gives directions for more than 20 stitches and combinations of stitches to be used for this work.
