REA CO-OP MEETING February 8

Use of electrical equipment in wartime food production will be the theme at the annual meeting of the Jasper County R.E.M.C, Rensselaer, according to the Board of Directors. The meeting will be held at the Rensselaer Armory on February 8. In addition to the transaction of regular business such as the election of a new board of directors, the meeting will give members an opportunity to exchange ideas and information relating to the application of elect r icity to production. The war will be a vivid background for the meeting, because a number of sons and husbands from among our membership are out there fighting—and also because the nation looks to groups like ours for a leadership in one of the biggest jobs on the home front —producing food for vie-, tory. i The Board of Directors expressed the hope that the great majority of the members will attend the meeting. Neighbors can “double up” and driver in together in order to conserve tires and gasoline. .
