MISS FRANCES SMITH WEDS EMMETT ERWIN

Mlm Frances Smith and Emmett Erwin have announced that they were married in Grown Point, October 24th, last year, by Justice of the Peace, Harvey Minus. Mrs. Erwin is the daughter of the late Dr. Smith of Terre Haute. She was born in Terre Haute and is a graduate of Garfield high school and also Indiana State Teachers College. Before coming to DeMotte, three years ago, she taught school at Lomax and San Pierre. Mr. Erwin, the son of Mrs. Essie Erwin of Chicago, is a graduate of the DeMotte high school. Before becoming deputy Auditor of Jasper County, he was engaged in the grocery and filling station business here. -’’M The best wishes of their friends is extended this popu lar couple.
