Dear Mom:- I guess by now you have received my other letter. It gets pretty lonesome here at camp when you don’t see anybody that you know, all strange faces. But there were 17 of inducted in the Army from Grants Pass, but only one besides myself sent here to Camp Robert, the rest were sent everywhere. And then the other day they separated us, put him in another outfit, but I guess as soon as I get acquainted with some of the boys here it will be better.
