HELD BANQUET

On Wednesday, Jan. 7, the Merchants and Farmer’s banquet was held [at the Christian Church in Rensselaer. Mr. L. M. Vogler, the state Triple A chairman, gave the address on “The farmers’, part in National Defense”. The Keener Male Chorus, under the direction qf Mr. H. R. Heimlich, gave several numbers which were enjoyed. A group of farmers,? from Marion and Milroy twps. entertained with instrumental numbers. Although it was one of our coldest nights, a large group was present and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
