Jasper Co. Tire Rationing Board Now Organized

Harry L. Swartzell, chairman Jay W. Stockton, and Schuyler C. Robinson were appointed to the berths of Jasper Co's Tire Rationing Board Named by the rationing board as inspectors were Perry Marlatt and Kenneth Ford. According to the rationing board, the two named inspectors are the only ones in the entire county who are qualified [as] inspectors under the standards [set] by the government. The council room of the Rensselaer City Hall was selected as headquarters for the Civilian Defense Council and Tire Rationing board. The allotment for the county per month is thirteen passenger car tires and thrity-seven truck tires you wish to apply for a tire purchase, you should first see either Mr. Marlatt or Mr. Ford.
