PLANS SPEED LIMIT

Indianapolis—Because old tires soon will increase the number of accidents, a speed limit of fifty miles per hour soon may prevail in Indiana. Don F. Stiver, state safety director, announced he would ask the next session of the General Assembly to set that speed limit. There now is no speed maximum in this state.
