FIRST REFORMED MISSIONARY SOCIETY TO SPONSOR NEW YEAR’S PROGRAM

The Missionary Society known as the Dorcas society will sponsor a program on the evening of Jan. 1 at 7:30. They have obtained our local chalk artist John Hanenberu. There will also be special music. You are all invited to this program The ladies wil] take an offering that evening and all the money received will be for Missionary work,.

Mrs. Klomparens, Miss Verleta Klomparens, Mr., and Mrs. Ted Harmse n and children Vernon and Lynn, Mrs. Peter VanSweeden and children Ann and Amy, Mr. and Mrs. Dirkse and son Richard, all of Hamilton, Mich, are spending Christmas day at the home of Rev and Mrs. Ray Schaap. Mrs. Mary Kessinger entertained the ladies of the faculty at a supper party at her home Wednesday evening Mrs. Lorenz Bauman was hostess to her bridge club Thursday evening, at a pot-luck dinner and Xpias exchange with the husbands as guests. Mae Stroup, employed at Curtins, is visiting Russell Clark who is at camp near Macon, Georgia. Mrs. Fred Erwin was hostess to her bridge club on Thursday evening. Xmas exchange was held and delicious refreshments of “Chicken i n the Rough” were served. Miss Helen Curti n entertained at a stork shower for Mrs. Chas. Ruch at her home Monday evening About 30 ladies were present and Mrs. Ruch received many useful gifts. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess.^/"
