WOMAN’S SOCIETY MET AT MEHODIST CHURCH

The Women’s Society of Christian Service met on the second Wednesday of January at the Methodist Church. Mrs. Faye Curtin,(president. icsided at the business session. All m.embt 1vore urged to solicit names and have' the booklets ready at the February meeting, V , ( Those taking part in tire devotional program were: Mrs. Then. Punteer, Mrs Ida Bed, and Hazel Mae McDaniel. The lesson for the afternoon was brought by (Mbs. Curtin on “Investing Out Heritage for Health] in the United* Rtates”. The s]X‘aker traced the growth of the l . R. Public Health Rervice through tin 1 period of the 142 years of its existence. A number of the institutions and centers through which medical work is carried on by the Methodist women was briefly reviewed.Hostesses for the meeting- were Hazel Mae McDaniel.
