NORTH UNION NEIGHBORS MET IN DECEMBER

The North U’nijon Neighorhood Club met with Mrs. Allen on Wednesday. Dec. 18. with i 8 members present. The meeting opened by singing. “It Come Upon the Midnight Clear”. Roll call was answered with a favorite holiday and why. The secretary’s report was read, and the collection taken. After the business -of the club was taken care of. they' had the club creed. The surprise, package was won by Mrs. Margaret Lakin. and consisted of a beater set. Then the club members enjoyed a Christmas exchange, with each one describing her silent friend. Names were drawn again with the understanding that there should be a 25c present sent your friend on her birthday, and a" 25c Xmas grab bag present at Christmas time. A lovely Xmas lunch was served by the hostess. The next meeting will •be held with Viola Cover on the 2nd Wednesday in January. This will be a pot luck dinner. —Z. Theews.
