Christians are constantly tempted to conform their lives and conduct tjo the fashion of this world. Satan and the world would like to remove the sharp line qf demarcation which distinguishes Christians from un-Christ-ians: If Christians in their daily conduct resemble the unbelievers, if it% difficult to notice any difference between the two grofips, then there would be justification for the criticism often leveled at a Christian congregation: “Your people worship God on Sunday, but when they are outr side of the ehut eh. *' • y spc nd. theit time and money just like the rest of us.”,—People can not look into our hearty and there, observe our faith, but they can see our life find conduct, and they will judge us accordingly. Are we living in such a manner that those who see us from Sunday, noon to Saturday night cannot fail to see that we are the children of light? We need asking onrs‘dves this question again and again, because our flesh, too, likes to folb w the lines of least resistance; We need ever and* again to he reminded of our high calling in Christ Jesus.’ We in whose heart the great Epiphany light has shined have been set apart from the world so that we may live as children of light. Ouir text for Sunday. Cor. fi:l4 to 7:1, impresses upon v this truth that We who Have Received the Saving Light Must Needs Re Separate from Darkness Let us 1 . n to know why such separation is r ■ essary an<] what enables tjis to mamtain this’ separation.
