.Wo have just been informed that the home of Agnes and Carrie Welsh on North College Avenue, in Ronsse laer. was the scene of a quiet add informal wedding, on Thursday, December 26. 1940. Charity M Wolff of DeMotte and Fred W Erw n of (Chicago, II! were united by the double ring ceremony. The rites a\ re solemnized in a must impressive manner 'by the Rev. E. J. Moore of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Rensselaer. The bride was clad in a tailor-fit-ted dress of soldier-blue alpaca, embroidered in silver. The groom wore the conventional navy blue, with colorful cravat. * -Those who. witnessed the petition for matrimonial 'blessing* were-: Miss (T)rno Welsh, the groom’s . cousin; Mrs. Maggie L. Huston, the highly esteemed teacher of the couple: and Mrs. Lucy Simpson; all of Rensselaer.
