MISS LOIS GOETZ AND GERRIT BOVENKERK WED XMAS EVE
Mr. Gerrit Bovenkerk and Miss Lois Goetz were ofuietly married at 1 the home of the groom Christmas eve at 8 p. m. with the Rev. Henri Stuenenhurg officiating. After the single ring ceremony a delicious plate lunch was served by an aunt of the groom and the bride’s mother. Miss Jeanne Swart played the wedding march. Mrs. Stuenenhurg sang two sacred selections during the course of the evening with Miss ! Swart accompanying her. The bride wore a rather plain teal blue gown With a corsage of pink roses on the shoulder. The groom wtire a business suit with! a carnation on the lapel. The bride is staying at home temporarily. The groom left for Chicago two days later where he is employed. The couple plan to live there in the near future. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Goetz. Kenneth and Ed. Jr., Mr. Casper Bovenkerk, Mrs. A. Tysen, Mjt' -auul -Mrs, H. Van Myner of Oak Glenn, 111., Mrs. H. Stuenenhurg and Jeanne Swart.
