Thief Prefers Small Change

A “nickel and penny*’ thief, who specializes in small change and scorns office safes and vaults, and yet has made a sizable haul, has been giving police in Dartmouth, N. H., a headache for weeks. Onecent weighing machines and flvecent “juke boxes” are his prey, so his scope among stores and restaurants is almost unlimited. One jimmied music box yielded him a total of $l2O, and a typical weighing machine gave up 3,000 pennies—a total of $l5O for the two.
