ATTEND ANNUAL CONFERENCE

On Thursday, October 3, several women from DeMotte attended the 3th Annual Conference of the Wo men’s Missionary Union of the Classis Chicago and 111. which was held in the First Reformed Church of Lansing, 111. A capacity crowd of 700 women filled the auditorium of the Lansing church and listened to several inspiring l addresses given by two missionaries to the Japanese and other Board Representatives. Those attending from DeMotte included Mesdames C. Westerhoff, Wm. Swart, L. Schonveld, J. Verduin, H. Swart, H. Steunenberg, J. Evers, J. Swart, H. Vander Ploeg, J. Moolenaar, S. Fieldhouse, J. Koster, R. Sipkema, H. Ausema, A. Hoffman, 'J. Kooy, H. Kingroa, R. Schaap, N. Zylstra, G. Knip, and S. Terpstra. >
