Virgel Abbott and John Middlekamp took a pleasure trip to Racine, Wis., over the week-end. The boys report „ they had a very enjoyable time. Mrs. Heery Weiss is visiting friends in Chcago for a few da^s. The Kniman store which previously was owned by G. H. Armstrong-'bas recently been purchased >by Mrs. Sophia Polczynski. Mrs. Harriet Crowder of Rensselaer is visiting friends in Kniman for a few days. Mrs. Elnora Brook has accepted a position in Chicago just recently. Commissioner anc| Mrs. Middlekamp are at the present time residing at their home in Kniman, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rice spent the week-end with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Rice and family. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stalbaum and daughters spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Pruett of Kniman
