Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bowen of Ambia, lII* were visiting in Shelby last week with old friends nd acquaints ances. Mrs. Joe Carlson was reported to be getting along nicely. Let’s hope for the best. All is quiet in Shelby at this time. The bam dance given every Saturday night is doing fine and they have swell crowds and a good old fashioned time sponsored by the Shelby 1.0.0. F. Mrs. Wm. Durkee was visiting in Thayer Sunday, t Mrs. Rose Fuller’s. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Laflfa have a sick daughter. She has what is called Rheumatic fever and has to be kept very quiet. Esco Rose and Ella Jane Shagg were married very quietly at Bro. Worley’s at Lowell August 31. They reside in Shelby.
