FARM WORKER SENT TO PRISON FOR SODOMY

Andrew Bedell, 39, itinerant farm hand who has been employed on farms in the vicinity of DeMotte and Thayer, was sentenced to two to fourteen years in the state penitentiary by Judfcic Moses Leopold Saurday charge of Sodomy was broughLiTgainst the moronic Bedell by the father of a three-year-old DeMotte boy whom the convicted man admitted attacking Friday night. Bedell, who gave his home address as Michigan, admitted having criminal relations with the boy during the parent’s absence. He readily admitted his guilt, pleading guilty to the charge preferred by the father. Judge Leopold lost no time in imposing the maximum penitentiary sentence and added a S2OO fine; The prisoner was removed to the prison Saturday afternoon.
