CONSERVATION CLUB MEETS
The Wheatfield Conservation Club met last Tuesday evening. The meeting was called to order by the president, George Longwell. The minutes were read by the secretary, Guy C. Jones. Mr. Jones reported that the club has forty full-fledged members. This club has been instrumental in placing in different favored places, a large number of pheasants and quails. These clubs give all true sportsmen a medium through which they can plsce before the legislature or any other state agency, their views on the laws by suggesting the repeal or amendment of any law that to their judgement, does not measure up to the right standard. If you are interested in the perpetuation of wild life, see Guy C. Jones or George Longwell and get a card of membership. This club has a social side to it.
