N. UNION NEIGHBORED CLUB MET SEPT. 18
The North Union Neighborhood Club met with Mrs. Irene Gifford Wedntsday, Sept. 18, with 12 members and 2 children present. Meeting opened by singing “Old Folks at Home”. Roll call, “Beauty Spots of Indiana’’, secretary’s report read and approved, Collect read by all. A talk was given by Mrs. Jordan on her week spent at the Indianapolis fair grounds, which was very interesting and well given. The surprise package was won by Mrs. Pauline Schultz, which was a lovely red wall flower vase. A delicious lunch was served by the hostess, the afternoon was enjoyed by all. Th next meeting will be held with Mrs. Ardeth Pettet which was postponed until the 4th Wednesday, October 23.
Mrs. Albert McClinton left Tuesday for her home in Usona, Alberta, Canada, after spending three weeks visiting her brothers and sister here in the States. She divided her visit with Dr. and Mrs. E. E. Leeson in DeMotte, Rev. and Mrs. C. H. Leeson of Winamac, Dr. and Mrs. F. W. Leeeson of Beloit, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Worden Wilder of Roselawn.
Mr. Lorenz Bauman, accompanied by Art Grube, A 1 Murray and Chas. Misch left Sunday to attend a threeday meeting held by Purina Mills at their experimental farm.
