NOTICE! FLOWER GROWERS!

DeMotte flower growers, and particularly those who specialize in growing fine gladiolos, will be interested n the annual exhibition of the Indiana State Gladioli Growers Association, which will be given in conjunction with the eighteenth annual Lake County Fair at Crown Point, on August 13th to 17th, 1940 Thousands of the beautiful blooms from, the hundreds of varieties of these members of the flower world will be shown. Included will be a number of the rare and little known varieties as well as the latest productions from she gardens /of leading breeders in this vicinity. Jasper county is known far and wide for its beautiful flower gardens and local growers are being urged to enter their choicest blooms in this state show. The Lake County Fair promises to be bigger and better than 'ever this year. Over a million dollars is invested in land, buildings and equipment, and Lake County makes a liberal appropriation for premiums in live stock and agriculture each year.
