AUTO LICENSE RECORD SEEN

Indiana should set a new record for number of automobile licenses issued this year, Frank E. Finney, state commissioner of motor vehicles, said Monday, revealing that sales for the first five months were 21,566 ahead of sales for the same period last year. He said that up to June 1, 768,854 licenses had been sold. The number of automobile dealers increased 123 to 2,473, he said. The number of trailers licensed, he said, dropped 421 to 1,479.
