Miss Rose v Mary Owefis, comely sample distributor for a well known chewing gum company, was in DeMotte last Thursday. Miss Owens was attired in a w r hite uniform dress at tractively trimmed ih red and wore a red, militay style hat with a large white plume. She promised to return in • little while with some more samples. This is the second year that Miss Owens has honored our city with her visit.
