‘DO-NOTHING’ CONGRESS?

William Bruckart says that the current session of congress, which he predicts will adjourn early in June,.has stamped itself as a “do-nothing” session. This is true according to Bruckart, because congress has avoided tw-o vital issues confronting it when first convened last January. These issues were (1) curtailment of expenditures, and (2) a new tax program. Both are bombshells in an election year.
