Lem Harmon, who passed away at tihe Mercy hospital at Gary, was buried Sunday at Hebron. Mr. and Mrs. Slater and family, were visiting at their father and mother’s, Jess and Bell Latta. Mr. Hobart Estill is reported to be ill at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Miller and son were visiting home folks this week. Mrs. Maggie Belshaw is improving nicely. She suffered a broken arm recently.
Willie Carlson, . son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carlson, is ill with mumps. Mrs. Frank Luchene is going to spend some time in the state of Tennessee, visiting home folks. Frank Furman is reported ill at this writing. The weather turned quite chilly Saturday night, but warmer Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marsh have retuned to Hammond, where he is employed as a signalman in the yards. Brother Cordig Ragon, editor of the Lowell Tribune, has been very sick with what is known as the flupneumonia, but is on the road to recovery now. Dr. Davis is attending him. Charles E. Fuller,vP. O. box 123, Los Angeles. Calif., I’m listening in and I truly hope that there are many more. Mrs. Elizabeth Pomaroy is very ill at this time. She is in a very weakened condition. Elmer Iliff and Donald Neil of Gary were visiting in Shelby Friday night.
