WELFARE TO ENROLL 2,000 CCC YOUTHS

County Welfare Department* in this state will enroll in the next two weeks more than 2,000 young men in the Civilian Conservation Corps. The young men will replace CCC youths who will leave the Corps at the end of the present period. Youths interested fn CCC work may make application for the next 6 month period at the Jasper county welfare offices. Applicants will be selected during the period of October 1 to 20th. 1 To be eligible for CCC selection a youth must be between the ages of 17 and 23, unemployed and in need of employment, unmarried and out of school.
