Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schowalter and son, of Indianapolis, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Henfichs. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph DeKock cast cares aside and left Monday for a week’s motor trip to parts unknown. Henry Zylstra leaves this week for Pella, lowa, to enter his senior year at Central College. Cal Huhn has purchased the cream station here from Buell Granger. Buell Granger and Don Sutton have purchased the Pritchett tavern at Thayer. The Ramp Chevrolet Co. delivered a new Chevrolet this week to Ed DeVries. Bert Struble is up and at work again after a tussle with the flu. Mrs. Bernice Eleveld has gone to her daughter’s home, Mrs. Smith, in Chicago, for an extended visit. Mrs. Eleveld bpent the last winter and summer here with her daughter, Mrs. Nick Zylstra.
