GRADE TOURNEY AT WHEATFIELD THIS SATURDAY

Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, on February 18, the district grade tourney will be held at Wheatfield. There will be four teams taking part: Tefft, Kniman, DeMotte, and wjheatfield. Kniman seems to be the faVorite asj they have won most of their scheduled games this year. Tefft, however, is also a favorite and will, as wo see it, have the best chance of the group to upset Kniman. They have plenty of speed and some size. DeMotte has the tallest team and would stand a very good show if their long boys can find the basket more* often. The tourney will be a blind tourney. The teams will draw to find who their opponent is just a few minutes before the games. > There will be three other tourney* on Saturday. The other teams from the county will meet at either Remington, Jordan and Gilliam for their games. February 25 the winners of these four tourneys will meet at some school nearest the winners to see who is the champion of the county. The admission will be ten cents for children and twenty cents for adults. There will be two games in the afternoon, beginning at 2 P.M. In the evening will come the consolation game at 7 P.M. between the losers of the afternoon games and the championship game between the winners.
