Department of Agriculture indicate that farmers have saved more of tin; spring pig crop than at any time during the past five years. Approximately 43,384,000 pigs saved, which represents an increase of 13 percent over the same period last year. It is anticipated that there will be a 9 percent increase in the number of sows kept to farrow this fall, as compared with l year ago.
