JAMES SPENNER KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT

James Spenner, 19-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Spenner, of Kankakee township, met instant death early Tuesday morning when his ear skidded from the road and turned ever in a deep ditch about a mile west oi his home. The Spenners live three miles northeast of Tefft. The car was found in the ditch Tuesday morning with the boy’s lifeless body caught in the wreckage. A watch showed that apparently the accident occurred about 2:30 a.m. Coroner Wright returned a verdict of accidental death. The boy suffered a broken neck and a crushed chest, evidently being killed instantly.
