Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Fuller held their golden wedding anniversary Sunday with a family dinnep. Those who attended from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. V. A. Fuller, of Westfield, Ind.; Mrs. J. R. Brannan and Maurine and Ernest Simms, of Indianapolis, and Mr, and Mrs. Clint Gundy and Mrs. R. M. Hough, of Monon. In the afternoon there were many callers among whom were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cox of Monticello, and Mr. and Mrs. C. U. Ragon and family of Lowell. The Rebecca lodge gave a party for all members having birthdays the first six months of the year. They had six visiting ladies from Gary and Ohio. Don’t forget the big dance given by the conservation club April 20. Mr. and Mrs. Hartley, and Mr and Mrs. Kasparian motored to Gary last Friday. e Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Slater and children, of East Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Miller and son, of Rensselaer; Ernest Latta of Rensselaer; Miss Irene Karlson, of Hebron; Mr. Wayne Rhode, of Hebron; were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Latta. Mrs. Emma Fuller received word
of the death of her daughter, Miss Nina Anderson, of Sioux, lowa. The remains were brought to Hammond for funeral services, with interment at Lowell. Shelby folk will remember her as Nina Clemans. The Bunco party was held at Lowell with Mrs. Della Latta as hostess last Wednesday. Prizes were given to Mrs. Sapp, Mrs. Sam Sirois, Clara Gregg, Mrs. Moscato., Mi . Amtsbeschler. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Rexford McDaniels a son Sunday, March 27, He has been named Howard Edwin and weighed 8% pounds. T. B. CLINIC— The tuberculosis clinic which was held at .the county courthouse March 10 was followed by a dinner meeting. Dr. Kresler was host to the doctors of Jasper county. Dr. Amos, M. A. Auerbach and Mr. Robinson, all of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Dean and Mrs. McColly, of the county T.B. association, were guests.
