TALENT DAY AT RENSSELAER
WITH AFTERNOON AND EVENING PROGRAMS.
The fifth annual Talent Day will be held in the Rensselaer Armory this Friday, April Ist. The afternoon program will begin at 1 :30 and the evening program at 7:15. The schools of each of the 13 townships will appear on the afternoon program and each will again appear with different numbers and different students on the evening program. The purpose of this arrangement is to allow as many school pupils as possible, who are talented, to appear before the public. Each school is asked to do the thing they do best in order to raise school standards in the county by examples of dutstanding achievements. By having an afternoon and an evening program school patrons and friends have a choice of time of attending. The specific purpose of Talent Day is to encourage the fine arts. The Talent Day Committee in charge of programs is comprised of Roland Armstrong, Harry Jarrett, Minnie Tinkham, Robert Shearer, Pha Curtis, Paul Egli and Miriam Cain. Albert Kuhn is chairman of the committee on arrangements. An invitation is cordially extended to the public to attend these progras. Admission is free.
