XMAS SEAL SALE UNDER WAY

HERE IN THIS TOWNSHIP --MONEY TO FIGHT T. B. The annual Jasper County Tuberculosis Association sale of Christmas Seals started on Thanksgiving day. Letters were mailed out to donors of previous years and to others in the various townships. Seventy-five per-

cent of the money given by individual of this county will be spent here in jasper county. Free tuberculosis clinics and information services to schools have in the past been the chief expense. The association this next year is entering upon a larger field of endeavor and will have a paid secretary who will quicken the activity of the association. The chief aim of the tuberculosis association is to spread information in places where it is needed to prevent the spread of the disease. If tuberculosis is found in its early stages it may be more easily cured. The greatest number of deaths occur between the ages of 15 and 45, for which age group tuberculosis is still the LEADING cause of death. The aim of the Jasper County Tuberlosis Association is find every singie case of tuberculosis and to stamp it out completely. Early, examination, skillful diagnosis and prompt treatment are factors which make the disease curable arid preventable.

Your money given freely for the double-barred cross on the Christmas Seals will help your local community in its fight against tuberculosis. Contributions of any amount are acceptable.
