MASONS ELECT OFFICERS AT WHEATFIELD

Wheatfield Lodge F. & A. M. met Monday night and elected the following officers for 1938: W. J. Davis, W. M. Merl Curtin, S. W. Don Peregrine, S. W. Alfred Duggleby, treasurer. Alvae Jay, secretary. The Master Mason degree was conferred upon Jay Deardorf. Visitors present were John Hopkins, Vern Michel, Mr. Spain and Joe Hilliard, of Rensselaer, and J.B. Cox of DeMotte. The annual Saints John supper will be held Dec. 27th, at which time the new officers will be installed. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Frame had as guests for Thanksgiving dinner Miss Albertine Bowman, of Chicago, Mr. and Mr. Karl Struble of Gary and Mr. and Mrs. Adam Smith. “The Scarecrow Creeps” the DeMotte school gym--Tuesday, Dec. 8.
