Mr. and Mrs. Ray Creekmur and children were entertained in the Wm. Orsburn home, in DeMotte, Sunday. Miss Edna Solomon and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reed and Edna Jane spent Sunday with the C. C. Solomon family. Mrs. Walter Amtsbuechler and Mrs. Melvin Osburn entertained the Ladies Aid last Thursday. Several members and visitors were present. The unfortunate members of the Home Bureau (No. 1 side in contest) entertained the members of the No. 2 group and their families and friends at Center on Wednesday evening. A fine program was sponsored by the No. 1 group. This consisted of several musical numbers and a home talent play. Ice cream, cake, sandwiches, and coffee being served to those present. The affair was a decided success in every respect. Mrs. Mary Solomon spent Saturday in the Roy Osburn home. Dorothy Amtsbuechler was hostess to the 4-H Club Friday. All members were present. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Osburn accompanied by Roy, Bruce and Charles Osburn, motored to Lebanon, Indiana, Monday for a visit with relatives. Roy Osburn expects to remain in Lebanon several days. The rest of the party returned Tuesday afternoon.
