Mr. and Mrs. Walter Deyier and daughters of Chicago spent the week end with William Korth, Sr. Miss Anne Fae Michial of Rensselaer spent Friday with Miss June Thompson and attended the Community meeting where she rendered some very pleasant numbers. Frank O’Keefe and two boy friends of Chicago spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. George Jaye. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Weaver of St. John spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Weaver. Mr. Jimmie Sullivan of Gary who has been visiting with his sister and family Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton for the past few days returned to Gary, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Denver David, Mr. Harley Hickman and Miss Bethel Shide spent the day in Turkey Run Park, Sunday. Edward Morlock of Ambia, Ill., is visiting with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Morlock. Mr. and Mrs. William Korth, Jr., and George Parent spent Sunday with Mr. Juddson Korth in Brehman, Ind. Robert Michial of Rensselaer and Gwendolyn Brown of Bloomington, Ind., spent Sunday evening with the R. A. Thompson family. Mrs. Ora Carringthers and daughter, Marion of Kansas City, Missouri and her brother, Mr. Calvin Burton of Gibson, Ind., spent Friday afternoon with her aunt, Mrs. A. Buron Lenard Rienke and Miss Birnaline Sullivan of Gary, called on Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Hamilton, Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tyler of
Lowell spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Bess and family. Mary and Pearl Cockerall spent Sunday With Cora Marie, and Vivian Robbins. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hill and family of Rensselaer spent Sunday with the Henry Jensen family. Mrs. Ivan Bess is entertaining her sister, Miss Gellman of Indianapolis Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Raider and family spent the week end with Mr. Raider’s parents in Yeoman, Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Andis and daughter, Louise attended the Putt Reunion in Kankakee, Ill., Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Schreiber and daughter, Norma Jean of Brunswick spent Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. John Barkey and family. Mrs. Belva Burton spent Monday afternoon with her family in this village. Mrs. R. B. Hamilton and daughter, Carrol spent the day in Gary, Saturday with Mrs. Hamilton’s father, Mr. Sullivan, who just returned home from the hospital. Mrs. Bell Wells of Schneider spent a few days last week with her sister, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kight. Mrs. Liza Hess and son, Robert of Momence and grandson Walter, of Minnesota spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kight.
