Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Petro and family and Mrs. Angeline Yott of Momence were here Sunday. The Children’s Day Program in the Presbyterian church was fine and attended by a large crowd of parents and friends. Miss Delores Henderson of near Enos is a guest at the home of her brother Russell and family. There were one hundred and twenty eight at the Rainford reunion here Sunday. Mrs. Albert Graefritz and children of Battleground, Ind., are visiting friends in the Village this week.. Hairy Simms of Schneider was a caller here Monday. Rev. Turner was a Sunday guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cooper. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Bailey were dinner guests at Lawbaugh’s Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brown and

children and Mr. and Mrs. Dallis Madison were entertained at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown Sunday. Among the Schneider folks here Monday were Alonzo Vicory, Reno Roush, Cecil Ault and Mr: Richter. John Picket and Denten of near Morocco were in the Village Tuesday. Earl Harris of Momence was here Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Basil Sorenson, who moved from here to Canada a little more than a year ago have moved back again. “There’s no place like home” when it is Lake Village. Mr. and Mrs. A. Hawkins have moved to the parsonage. Miss Phyllis Wolgemuth of near Schneider was the guest of her friend, Miss Doris Christenson, the first of the week.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Cooper and sister, Miss Elenore Cooper of Hammond and Mr. Howard Cooper and Miss Miller from Ohio were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Bailey and family.
