DEATH OF MARY KATHERINE STRUBLE
A home was made brighter and happier by the presence of Little Mary Katheryn, daughter of Celia and Melvin Struble. She came to them June 30, 1928. On Easter Sunday, 1929, Mary Kathryn was baptized and was a member of the Cradle Roll Class of the Methodist Espiscopal Sunday School. This bud was lent, not given, to bud on earth and bloom in heaven. She was taken from this life June 18, 1933. There is a Reaper, whom we call Death, And with His sickle keen; He reaps the bearded grain at a breath, And the flowers that grow between. We must not measure life by the span of years. Much of good and happiness has been the contribution given by Mary Kathryn, during her brief stay in her home, where a world of strife was shut out, and a world of love shut in. She was the center of affection, round which all hearts did twine. She leaves to mourn her loss, mother, father and brother, many relatives and friends. We needs must grieve at her going, yet many sweet and pleasant memories will temper the sadness. God gave, He took, He will restore; He doeth all things well. The funeral was held from the M. E. Church at 2 p. m. June 21, with Rev. Worley, of Lowell officiating. Special music was furnished by Mrs. Henry Swart. Interment was at Pine Grove Cemetery, near Low-ell.--Contributed.
