Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sladek of near Rose Lawn were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Henderson last Thursday. John Bartholomew of Morocco was a business caller here Monday. Maxine Hanford is visiting at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Hanford near DeMotte this week. Classes No. 4 and 5 of the Presbyterian S. S. had a picnic at the Island Park in Momence last Sunday. A fine time was reported by all who attended. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Henderson of near Enos visited with her son, Russell and family Monday evening. George Brown made a business trip to Momence Monday. Schuyler Cox and Melvin Studor of South of Rose Lawn were in the Village Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ainsworth of Morocco were Sunday guests at the home of the latter’s brother, Wm. Boyd and family. There will be a Children’s Day program next Sunday evening at the church. Betty Hendryx has been quite sick the past week with pneumonia. Scott Ford of Momence was the guest of his son, Elmer and wife and daughter, Mrs. Chet Rainford and family, also his brother, John and wife, who took him back to Momence last week. Mrs. Allen Early and daughters Loretta and Pearl are visiting relatives in Hersher, Ill., this week.
