Mrs. Jay Pearce and Mrs. John Johnson were Gary shoppers one day last week. Callers in the Loyd Solomon home, Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Solomon and family, of Wheatfield, Mrs. Mary Solomon, Clarence Solomon, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Ellis and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ellis from Illinois. Rev. H. J. Boennema called on several families in this community last Thursday. Mrs. J. Boyd and children of Chicago, formerly a resident of Range Line, called in the Fifield home Tuesday morning. The members of the Liberty 4-H Club met with Esther Amey Thursday afternoon of last week. Club activities for the summer were started. Club officers are: Pres., Irene Jurs; vice-president, Marilyn Fifield, Sec.-Treas., Esther Amey and Song Leader, Ellen Solomon. Mrs. C. C. Osburn, Mrs. H. F. Long and Barbara Jean called on Mrs Loyd Salomon and daughter, Monday afternoon. Esther Amey spent Sunday with Marilyn Fifield. Children’s Day Exercises will be held at the Range Line church Sunday, June 11 at 8:00 p. m. Everyone welcome. Flowers will also be appreciated. Sunday school classes for all 10:00--11:00 a. m., followed by church services. Come. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Osburn, Dean and Dorothy and Gardner Allison ate Sunday dinner with the C. C. Osburn family. The families attending the Farm Bureau Jubilee in Crown Point Saturday night were: C. H. Fifield, Harvey Busselberg, John Ross, B. McCammon, Wm. Bryant, Fred Nethery and Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Van Swearingen. Several numbers on the program were furnished by these people. All report a fine time.
