Mrs. John Born and son spent several days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Nichols of Lake Village. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Born are spending several days this week in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Vicory and family were Momence callers Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. John McNann of Lowell, was visiting his mother, Mrs. Ault and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Vicory and family were Lowell callers Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Dodson and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Carter of Bloomington, Ill., visited with the formers brother, S. A. Dodson and family, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. McRoberts and Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Hartwick also Gene Price attended the WLS barn dance Saturday night. Mrs. F. Stejskal of Shelby visited at the Hartwick home Monday. John Hartwick visited in Chicago Monday. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lowe of Kentland spent Monday with their son and family in Schneider. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Opperman and family, Miss Vina Kressby of and Mrs. Clyde Kressby

and daughter, Mary Katherine of Rossville spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Greer Guilford last week. John Born and Oliver have taken possession of the filling station that was vacated by Fellman’s. Don’t forget next Sunday is children’s day. The Presbyterian church is putting on a program. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Parks and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Parks, near Shelby, Sunday. Mrs. Betty Black and daughter Barbara is visiting this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Jones.
