went to Lafayette Sunday to visit Mrs. Davis’s sister, who is seriously ill. Miss Swan of Scottsburg, Ind., visited friends at the Brady home over the week end. An Easter pageant “From Darkness to Light” will be presented by the Young People on Easter Sunday April 16, 7:30 p. m. A Congregational meeting will be held at the church April 10, 7:30 p. m. All members and friends of the church are urged to attend. There will be a social hour after the meeting. Mrs. Henry DeFries visited her daughter, Mrs. Harold Hockney at Crown Point last week. Mrs. Gebhart who has been ill is improving. Mr. and Mrs. Lug Cyphers, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Zimmer, Miss Juana Schneck and Mr. Leland Langdon attended the Lowell theatre Sunday. James Van Clarke was a visitor at the Latta home Sunday. Mr. Adams and family from Chicago spent the week end at their country home here in Thayer. Mr. and Mrs. Von Sido spent a few days at their country home here. Miss Christie Baude sprained her ankle Thursday.
