Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gibbs visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edison Gibbs. Mr. Andreas Crawford, of Hebron
was a business caller here Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pettit and family visited their daughter at Creston Sunday, she returned with them for a short visit. Misses Drucilla Hights, and Janet Steel spent Thursday night with Miss Margaret Parker. Mr. Perry Clark was a Kersey caller Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Boomsma visited at the home of Amos McDaniel and family Friday evening. A birthday party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. Punter in honor of his daughter Harriet, Monday evening. She is celebrating her seventeenth birthday It has been reported that we will have some new neighbors. A family from Chicago are going to build on a lot in Garden Acres on the Pon farm. They will move out in
a week or two. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Woosley and son, Homer, called at the home of Wm. Woosley and family, Saturday evening. Mr. Russell McDaniel spent Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bush. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Bush entertained the following guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith and family of Shelby, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence McDaniel and daughter, Mr. Henry Hunsicker and daughter, Etta, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bush. Mr. Edward Pettit called at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pettit, Saturday afternoon. Miss Doris Grube was reported on the sick list Monday. Mr. Wm. Stroup visited at the home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marshall and family, Sunday forenoon. Mrs. Clarence Holliday entertained her sisters of DeMotte, Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Guild and family motored to Medaryville, Monday. The Church of Christ at Wheatfield had a better attendance, Sunday, come on folks lets keep it up.
