day. Last Sunday, Dr. and Mrs. Bucher entertained Mr. and Mrs. L. Snowden of Gary. Mrs. Wayne Jones and mother spent last Monday at Medaryville. Miss Nora Timmons of LaCrosse was a caller here last Sunday. Mrs. Wilson Clark entertained the sewing club last Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Theis of Kniman called at Pruett’s Friday afternoon. Mrs. Gertrude Woods and baby and Mrs. Hazel Dunn spent last Tuesday in Hamlet visiting Mrs. Mable Miller. Mrs. Edith Gorman entertained the country club Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Bert Vandercar is reported ill with a severe cold. Mr. and Mrs. L. Hilliard of Tefft were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hilliard. Mrs. Lottie Sampson was reminded of her birthday last Sunday evening by friends who came to celebrate with a pot luck supper. Mr. and Mrs. Clare Gulbransen and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reisinger of Hebron spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Kerns. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Vandecar had as Sunday guests, Mr. and Mrs. F. Hibbs and twin baby daughters. Mr and Mrs. Wm. Meyers entertained the Strader family and Jim Andersons. Mr. and Mrs. S. Engle had as Sunday guests the Jesse Wyncoop family of Walker Center. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Neier, son of Kniman visited at Harry Neier home Friday. Floyd Brown spent Saturday night and Sunday with Vic Neier. Miss Mable Walker spent the week end from Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Neier and babe have moved into one of the E. Davis houses at DeMotte. Miss Mable Walker and “Cotton” Jones, Lois Granger and M. Jones, Joe and Elizabeth McFarland, Sylvia and Earl Stalbaum were visitors at North Judson Saturdav evening. Miss Etta Hunsicker, Harriet and Valeida Neier called upon Dr. Frank eye specialist at Valparaiso. They were accompanied by Mrs. Harry Neier and son. Th two Allen boys are staying indefinately at the home of Mrs. May Wilmington. Mr. O. A. Cates who spent a few months at his former home in Anderson has returned to Wilmington, Del.
